Glass Balustrade System Types

• Stair Glass Balustrades – Stand-Offs & Spigots
  Frameless or minimal systems fixed via stainless steel standoff pins or base-mounted spigots. Commonly used on internal staircases or landings for a clean floating glass appearance.
• Semi-Framed Systems – Slotted Posts & D-Clamp Glass
  Aluminium or stainless steel posts featuring slotted or D-clamp glass fixings. Offers improved lateral strength and a more defined structure while maintaining a transparent look.
• Framed Aluminium Balustrade Systems

Performance

Our glass balustrade systems are engineered and tested to meet the following performance criteria:

• 0.6kN/m line load for residential settings
• 1.5kN/m line load for commercial, public, or assembly spaces (where specified)
• Use of Grade A safety glass only (toughened to AS2208)
• Balustrade height compliance as per NCC and site classification
• High wind load and impact resistance, particularly with framed and channel-mounted systems
• UV-stable glazing and seals to ensure clarity and long-term durability
• Drainage, expansion tolerance, and edge protection integrated into each system
